arlo dancers! :) so happening to have our own blog! YAY!!

one day we should make a template out of our own collection of dance photos. tt wil be so much more meaningful! hee..

yeah easter is just over. i know in SG its no big deal cos its only one pathetic Good Friday hol. but in Adelaide, its a freaking 4 day long holiday! ugh. wud haf been great if dis place has more to offer. but nah! its boring. luckily i've got my Singaporean gang of med frens. we went on a road trip on easter monday n it was so fun! hahaha..i havent updated my blog on the details though. wil try to do so real soon but quite difficult cos i dun haf internet in my hostel room. bah!

i really miss dancing! u guys n girls r really fortunate to haf gone for DU! count ur dancing toes! poor me here. wanna join Swing also cant find the club details. there's some synergised dance cum aerobics classes. weird names but basically means Latin dance coupled with Cardio workout kinda crap. hahaha! actually i feel like joining. but i wud need to starve to pay for those classes. might as well jus starve n save the money. hahaha!

i suppose everyone is rushing for exams or some project deadlines yeah? take gd care of ur health noe? dance more to relieve stress, boost immunity, lose weight (from all those stress-snacking!) and get that taut abs + radiance on ya faces! :D

btw, tell me who's the new dance head k! heh. im stl as kaypoh as ever.

p.s. Sharon: ur makeup for girls is wonderful! its really nice, esp. the RnJ girls..(hahah! of cos i wud say this..i was fr RnJ wat!)

Dunno wat to say..
WOW. KEdansdemonz so happening.. got own blogsite..
Thanks everyone for a wonderful experience.
mmm mmm .mm . mm .. dunno wat to say..

for some, this is the first time on stage... for some, it may be the last...
i'm sad for the fact that the same thing will never happen twice in life..
but yet, i'm grateful for the fact that it had happened at all.
Anyhow..
i hope everyone will continue dancing somehow.. even if it means dancing in your own bedroom.

Dancing is enjoyable. It's fun! But dat's only when you let it to be..
When you let your feet run its own rhythm..
When you let your body move to the beat..
When you let yourself shine under the limelight..
When you enjoy every moment of it, translate dat joy to body language and share it with the audience.

Dansdemonz has so much potential.

Csd, thanks to Waikeng, Sharon, Melia, Hui zhi,(and Jamie) who helped to put on this new salsa/latino/modern dance. Thanks guys for bearing with those "girls steps" that you had to do :)

RnJ, thanks to Melia and Sharon (and Jamie) who were in charge of the dance and showing the new ppl the steps in such a short period of time and with so much complications. Thanks to Waikeng for being the new Juliet with a high standard ballet :)

Sneaking into UCC theatre is not that hard to do :p

UCC Theatre was spilling over with people within moments of the door opening. Some boyfriends, girlfriends, husbands and wives alike could not get in - but I did! And only for the KE Dances..then I would disappear again :) Thanks to the very kind usherers who turned a blind eye to me standing there for a while.

From what I could see, the dances were all well done.....full energy from everyone on stage. There were some mistakes here and there though, but let's move on...funny things alwz happen on stage :p The crowd was very receptive though! And a little girl changed the tragic ending of RnJ into one of laughter by saying "Die..."

Very well done people...hope I will be up and about soon to join you all in dance! Meanwhile, those having exams and project datelines, jia you!!

P/s I resent that Fen! All guys don't like to be made up, except Decci maybe :P

dance uncensored has passed by and dance has closed for this sem...unless got some itchy feet...and everybody did great for tonight! hope that u all had fun and that it will be memorable for you...it was for me as i was working with so many generations of dancers...at least 4 of u...thanks all for keeping up with my sometimes 'briskness' during this semester :P

A taste of love - more lovingly called CSD (conservative sexy dance)
thanks to hui zhi for coordinating this dance and for making it happen at all...thx waikeng, sharon and melia for coming out with steps for the dance...to all the girls who made their tops and skirts...a job well done...and the guys good job finding ur suits and polishign ur shoes...and also for handling the fans for the ladies...hopefully this item can be performed again...think the effort put in should be rewarded...haha...and thanks to all for putting up with all the changes...u all did a great job!

thanks to waikeng for taking over Mi Chelle as Juliet and agreeing on me lifting her with my skinny arms...haha thanks to all the new ppl who learned the dance in such a short time this sem...and thanks to ee teng, lifu and yiming for coming back to dance with us even if they left hall...even though the little girl called out "die"and made the audience laugh...i think she must have been into the dance and was interested instead of dozing...so let's be proud that at least we kept her awake...anyway well done...and specilaly thx to our original Juliet-Mi Chelle for her choreo parts and her make up skills for today...even thought the guys didn't like it too much...

thanks to everyone who has learned this dance! i have lost track of who knows this dance! whether long or short version...everytime it is performed i am glad that i managed to choreo this dance while back in Mauritius...for tonight good job...thx to all those who put in the effort these few weeks and for coming down for the pratices...thx to jon tan for comign back to dance with us...and to the two fake hair girls...u two looked cute with the long pony-tails :P

Centennial Float

Wouldn't it be really great to be a part of Float Dance for an event that only happens every 100 years? This year, Float Dance is THE dance that should not be missed...VIPS and alumni will be there to witness this iconic event. Then you can tell people that YOU were there at the field, amidst cheers and fanfare...dancing your hearts out as NUS turns 100......
So be part of the team!! As of now, Fen and I will be choreos for the Float. We aim to claim GOLD!!! So help us by signing up to be dancers...alumni are most welcome too...wait for that day when everything pays off...
